This shoot perfectly embodies what I love most about wedding photography: capturing a day so full of love and joy that it becomes unforgettable not just for the couple, but for everyone lucky enough to witness it. Kayla and Alec chose to get married on February 14th, and they absolutely lived up to the Valentine’s Day name – their day was overflowing with love, romance, and the kind of celebration that reminds you why weddings exist in the first place.

February weddings in Pennsylvania are always a bit of a gamble, but this day? Blessed with surprisingly beautiful weather and plenty of sunlight that made everything glow. It felt like even Mother Nature knew something special was happening and decided to cooperate.

The Harper in Meadville provided the perfect backdrop for Kayla and Alec’s celebration – a venue that matched the romance and elegance of the day. And I was so lucky to have Margaret Miller alongside me as a second shooter, helping capture every angle of this beautiful winter wedding.

But what really made this day unforgettable wasn’t just the weather or the venue – it was the people.
